Project manager

Allied Universal is seeking a Project Specialist to support our Client's Global Security (GS) Design, Engineering and Construction team. This role will focus on supporting the company's continued growth and expansion of its global hyperscale Data Centre program by leading on-site delivery and coordination of physical and electronic security requirements in line with the General Contractor's construction program and the client's global standards, processes and procedures.

In order to support all associated cross functional partners, it's preferable that candidates have a background in, or strong working knowledge of Project Management, Construction and/or Systems Design.

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Work with internal and external partners to understand their processes, identify opportunities for collaboration and establish consistency across the organisation
  • Act as liason and primary point of contact for all project associated stakeholders
  • Monitor and control resource utilisation, status reports and project schedules, modifying and updating as required
  • Create and maintain project plans to help inform critical path and major milestones
  • Work with project disciplines as subject matter expert (SME) in the development of new or revision, correction and updates of previously published documentation
  • Meet regularly with client management to provide status updates
  • Direct project operations ensuring GS standards, procedures and best practices are being maintained in line with a uniformed and consistent global program
  • Communicate updates on emerging technologies, solutions or practices that may impact business operations, employees or vendors
  • Ensure internal security teams are engaged appropriately in line with project timelines and informed of any risks, issues and status updates
  • Manage performance metrics to evaluate progress and success



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management or Construction Management with 2+ years of relevant work experience -or- 5+ years focusing on Project Management, Construction or Design in large-scale fast-paced business environments
  • key requirement is Experience of Security Installations. 
  • Strong written and verbal communications, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) is a plus
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language
  • Willing to tavel abroad for aditional training

  • Depending on experience the wage brackets are €55,000 -€70,000 per annum for inexperienced candidates and €70K - €80K for experienced candidates.
  • Full time contract
  • Workdays's Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700. But with construction security this might change so some flexibility is needed
